Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much life insurance should I buy?
  • This will depend on your overall financial situation but use as a guideline $100,000 of life insurance for every $10,000 of income. Click here for Insurance Needs Calculator.

  • What type of insurance should I buy - term life or whole life?
  • DEFINITELY TERM LIFE INSURANCE.  Term life affords you the opportunity to buy the amount of insurance you actually need and still have money left over to invest as you see fit. Click here for Free Term Life Quote.

  • There are several variations of term life insurance.  Which is the best for me?
  • We recommend you consider approximately how long you will need the insurance coverage and buy the term policy which provides the least expensive guaranteed level premium over that predetermined period of time (consider the age of your youngest child and/or projected retirement age to help you determine this period of time).

  • Are all term policies the same?
  • NO.  Be sure first of all you have a reputable insurance company with solid financial ratings from at least two independent ratings services.  Also, be sure the premium is guaranteed level over the period of time you have selected (not all policies have a guaranteed level premium.)
